The Grand Tour
Entry to this apartment is via a carpeted staircase. On the ground-floor level of the building is a commercial unit, also available by separate negotiation; more information is available on request.
This home, along with its neighbour
Terrace Walk has been exceptionally well renovated and recently completed. New Bosch kitchen appliances have been added, along with a fresh air ventilation system and double glazing, ensuring excellent heat and sound insulation.
The living area is to the south, an orientation that imbues the open-plan room with day-long light. Along one side is a buttery yellow kitchen, topped with dark-stained oakcounters and with a butt-and-bead splashback. Above is an open shelf for displaying art, objects and/or cookbooks. The rest of the room is versatile and is framed by a broad cast-iron fireplace. At one end is a brilliant pantry, with plenty of space for dried goods and spices, or general storage space.
The bedroom is at the rear, its walls picked out in a light powder-blue hue. Two windows here capture a breathtaking view out to the Abbey’s dramatic arched windows. There is built-in storage and a beautiful chestnut-brown tiled former fireplace. Soft carpet has been added underfoot, and there are newly fitted radiators beneath the windows.
The shower room is accessed from the bedroom. Here, light-coloured tiles create a crisp feel, while a coral unit presents a pop of colour. There is an additional WC accessed from the hall with space and plumbing here for laundry facilities. There is also a Starlink connection running to the apartment.
