The Government’s Covid-19 restrictions eased on Monday 19th July 2021 but Inigo has kept some guidelines in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff, clients and customers.

Last reviewed: December 2021

Viewings

  • Viewings will be staggered to avoid overlap between appointments.
  • We advise that a maximum of two adults should be in attendance per viewing, including the representative from Inigo or the homeowner if they are carrying out the viewing. Exceptions may be made in some instances and will be at the discretion of the homeowner or viewing host. If you are planning to attend a viewing in a larger group, please inform Inigo prior to the appointment.
  • We would advise that if the homeowner is not doing the viewing, they (and any other members of the household) leave the home for the duration of the viewing. If the homeowner is doing the viewing, they may remain in the home but we would suggest other members of the household vacate for the viewing period.
  • While no longer a requirement, it is recommended that homeowners and viewers continue to wear a face covering during the viewing (provided by themselves). Representatives from Inigo will continue to wear face coverings.
  • Ideally, all viewings will be kept to a maximum of 15 minutes, or as short as possible, depending on the size of the property. Should a longer conversation be required with a representative from Inigo, this should take place outside of the property.
  • Viewers will not be permitted to use the bathrooms in any homes visited. – Windows should be opened wherever possible for the duration of the appointment, to ensure spaces are well ventilated.
  • Homeowners and viewers are required to report any symptoms, for themselves or anyone within their households, to Inigo prior to the viewing.

Appraisals

  • We advise that a maximum of three adults should be in attendance per appraisal, including the representative from Inigo. Exceptions may be made in some instances and will be at the discretion of the homeowner and the Inigo team. If you are planning for a larger group to be in attendance during the appraisal, please inform Inigo in advance.
  • To prepare for appraisals, we suggest that homeowners leave all internal doors open to minimise the need for the Appraiser to touch door handles.
  • Windows should be opened wherever possible for the duration of the appointment, to ensure spaces are well ventilated.
  • While no longer a requirement, it is recommended that homeowners wear a face covering during their appraisal (provided by themselves). Appraisers will wear masks during the meeting.
  • Homeowners are required to report any symptoms, for themselves or anyone within their households, to Inigo prior to the appraisal.

If you have any questions about the guidelines, or would like to discuss anything in more detail, please email your Sales Advisor or Appraiser directly, or call 020 3687 3071.
